Thank you once more for an outstanding video! The way you addressed each question with practical advice and real-word examples is exactly the kind of content photographers need to refine the business aspect of their craft, me included. Keep up the fantastic work. 👍
영상 도움 많이 되었습니다. 감사합니다!!! :-)
I'm so glad, thank you!
So glad you decided to make this channel. I really needed this
and I'm glad you're here!
Already on day 2!
Great
when they are paying for the studio, does that include you and your equipment or just the space?
They usually rent the space and then bring in their own creativity, but most studios provide the basics of lighting
What is the best set up for the shoot,,is it good the aperture
Not sure what the exact question is on this one
Applying this asap! Thank you
GOOD!
Hi Walid! I have a question. I truly experienced this when I told a lady my rate for a headshot session. She did exactly what you said, trying to come down to 1/2 hour. However I'm conflicted, as my headshot sessions only take 30mins to an hour *advertised as an hour* for an individual. Am I unable to sell that as a package (just in an hour), or do I need to come up in the timeframe and add more to the experience? Sorry if I'm not fully grasping the concept! I Mightve gotten too used to cheapos near me for your same reason disclosed. Love your videos! ❤
Just to give more detail, I would pose it as, "you get x amount of photos for $$ and 1hr in studio" as an example
Might actually make a whole video on this...
@@WalidAzamiTV I'd greatly appreciate that 😭
This video is amazing! Been to a lot of those spots and definitely can feel how cinematic they are. 🔥 let me know if you need a buddy to go with next shoot! 💯💯💯
Thank you for watching!
no wonder a low budget film costs millions .
seriously - money just goes so quickly
Well and wisely put
Thank you!!!!
Thank you for this video brotha ❤
When I shoot for NBC, they get everything... However this is all discussed upfront and in the contract. I use this analogy, if I was the cameraman for the the movie titanic, do I get the raw footage? But hey everyone, this guy is legit, I agree with 99.5% of what he says and the other 0.5% is just difference clients and situations.
Thank you
Not much evidence when most of it was buried and burned
Thanks for watching
Thanks, but your video is misleading, the title says that it is about Dazz camera and it is supposed to be shot on Dazz cam, but in fact your video was shot on phone without Dazz camera. only pictures from Dazz cam..
Well I hope you enjoyed even parts of it
@@WalidAzamiTV Sure! The video is awesome! I was wondering if it was possible to achieve such results using just Dazz app)
@@Drumsdude123 Dazzcam has video also. I find that it's slightly less in quality. If You do wish to use it for video I would first film in the iPhone's native camera, and then import that into Dazzcam.
I learned so much through this entire video! 😌✨👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
:) That's the goal and I'm happy about that, thank you!

Thank you for your kindness and showing us how to run our business 😎😎
That's really kind, thank you. Rough day yesterday so comments like this help.
The pro tip of offering extra time as opposed to always offering a cut in price was such a gem.
Thank you! Yeah, keep your money in your pocket!
Walid once again coming with his gems!!! Your videos feel like I’m getting a free one on one call where I’m getting all these tips 🎉🎉🎉 thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos and help to counteract the gate keeping in the industry 💗💗💗
That's kind, thank you so much!
Thank you for doing this. Living all my life in San Fernando myself and have been wishing to do cit shots of LA since getting back into photography but always nervous about where to go this helps a bunch.
Thanks so much Robert! I need to do some spots in the SF valley. Also this video may help a little too, it's another DTLA Video for photoshoot spots. ruclips.net/video/nGUmIsROVi0/видео.htmlsi=IFW94mipXQoIufB1
Hi! Is the STEP Pricing course included in your Masterclass packages (a photography pricing module is listed but it's unclear if it's the STEP course or something different). Reaching out here because I couldn't find a contact form on the website. Best.
Hi - the STEP Pricing Course is more in detail than the masterclass package. If you want the pricing part only go for STEP! And it’s less of an investment:) Also, thank you for leaving a comment here because the website is currently under construction so there should be a full contact page very soon
@@WalidAzamiTV Okay, got it. Also, is the STEP Facebook group the same as the Masterclass one or does each course have its own FB group? Also, I don't have a studio space, and I was wondering if the masterclass course combined with the Step course can help me develop an effective business strategy that can function and grow without the overhead of a studio space (for the time being). Thank you a lot for all that you do.
@@aramisgrey3711 I would say the Masterclass does not help you with a studio. It's more of an A-Z type of course. And yes the groups are the same and they are moving to a Discord type of venue very soon!
do you mostly use lightroom or capture one? or both?
sooooooo it's a long story. But I'm a LR person who desires Capture one life.
@@WalidAzamiTV i totally understand;) after many years, i’m finally learning and using capture one now. the controls to the colors are magnificent! but the ease of use in lightroom makes sense. thx for the response!
Another great video, as always, filled with practical advise from you experiences. I don’t know why your not more popular, I hope to see you as one of the top RUclips photographers soon.
I just want to say messages like this help us continue and keep building. I, like yourself, would love the channel to be bigger. I think because we focus heavily on the educational part - it doesn't always have favor with the instagram. But this exact comment helped my editor and I have a healthy conversation about new tactics to deliver the same type of images.
If you don’t have the budget you can always get a M43 camera like an Olympus PL8 and a pancake 17 m… smaller and cheaper. Nice one Walid.
Good tip, thank you!

Tiziano ferro is a king of music in Italy
He’s such a king! 👑
When it comes to this effect, usually you want it to be very dreamy. Cheaper filters will be dreamier and often better value for money. You don't want sharp with these filters because that is not their point.
Really great perspective- I see what you mean
Great info.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations brother 🎉
Thank you so much 😀💚
On it. Thank you for everything. I'm so glad Ive found this amazing content
Welcome!
Thank you Walid
😃 thanks for watching
Gold!
Thank you!! : )
In the RUclips photo circles, Walid's videos are a 100% watch. In the cinematography circles, Luc Forsyth videos are a 100% watch. Both creators speak straight business, straight from the heart, and straight from experience. No BS, no fluff, just what you need.
Thank you. I like Luc too.
Thank you so much for this, you've encouraged me to redo my website. My last one was on format and it was awful, and they pawned me off to squarespace.
WAIT! LOL they sold you!?!?! And then to Squarespace? Yeah take your power back!!
@@WalidAzamiTV They moved my domain after I cancelled to Squarespace and then Squarespace started charging me!
@@rhyno23rjr I want to say i'm surprised... but...
Your videos always pump me up and get a little more confident every time i tune it, i love the blunt honesty to yourself and to us the viewers… i personally feel like you are the realest photographer without the superficial hype that comes along with the title of your status
Glad to hear it! And thank you so much! Seriously that means a lot

Asking for a friend: if you “find” a nice Fuji camera, I’d like to have a conversation over FB marketplace 🤣
Spot on advice, Walid. I think you summed up the need for people who take time for themselves once in awhile. By the way, that Jackfruit in your basket at that market looked like it was the perfect amount of ripe.😊
The jackfruit approval is one I didn't know I needed BUT I'm quite happy I got!! haha and thank you :)
Love you Walid! You always keep it real! So inspiring! Again congratulations on Vanity Fair, you so deserve it! And you should be so proud to represent your homeland
Thank you so much!! I am : )
I would not even had mentioned Skid Row bruh ...you trying to get fooos killed? hahah When you say don't that means GO to 99.9% of people lol.
is that what it means?
i never owned a studio, but I've been a monthly renter and you video reminded me of why the studio owner did what he did at times Depending on the city and location, I never thought about havin to pay for parking as well!

Thank you so much!
Walid, this video was very informative for me. I’ve been working on hard on a local level to get my name known as a portrait photographer and I’ve done that. I do want to move into the commercial side. I have a team I use for my clients, and I would like to know how do I even get my foot in the door? To get the decision makers to know I am here?
I'm really glad it was helpful Greg! one way is to book a private session with me and we talk ONLY about your career. While it seems like an ad for my service, it's actually an ad for your future. But one thing I would 100% do and it's free... avoid channels where they put you down, make you feel like you have to watch video after video to juste get a nugget of info, or those that haven't done what you want done.
Congrats Walid! Amazing job, I feel really moved when see a person I respect triumph as you did on this project.
I appreciate that! That's the nicest message and so you know, it's been a really bad day, and this message me feel better. Thank you!
This is a free coaching session right there :) Thanks Walid !
Thank you!!
Walid! I thank you in advance for all my success once I get started as a creative. You truly give value and I have a feeling that you help me avoid mistakes I haven't even made yet just because you create all of this content. I love that you always come from a place of honesty and helping your peers, and I have a feeling that collectively we are destroying the gatekeeping and the "I'll step over you to get this opportunity" mentality. Thank you! Great video as always <3
You'll have a bright future!
As a commercial photographer and a former model I have concluded that a customer doesn't care about your gear. They care about the final results. So, rule #1 is to always use gear you are absolutely familiar with.
Yessssssssss! But they sell this idea of Pro Foto, and so I fell for it. It's a wonderful lighting system though, just not my mastery. You're so right that the customer does not care at all!
